INTRODUCTION

The Ramesh Mohan Library named after Professor Ramesh Mohan, former Director, was established in 1958 to provide bibliographical, documentation and information support to the teaching and research programmes of the University. The Ramesh Mohan Library is committed to serve as a national resource center for providing high quality bibliographic and information services to support the study, teaching, research and consultancy activities relating to language teaching, linguistics and literatures of English and other foreign languages.


ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOGUE (OPAC)

The bibliographic details of each book held in the library collection is fed into the Library Computer using NewGenLib Library Software. The Library user can access the books and other documents held in the Library collection using (a)Free Text Search, (b) Basic Search and (c) Advanced Search.

The OPAC also enables the library users to know, (a) the details of the books borrowed by them, and (b) books added to the library collection during the last 30 days on any given day.
