Languaging - A Journal of Language Teaching and Language Studies
About the Journal
Languaging is a double-blind, peer-reviewed international journal published by the School of English
Language Education at The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. It offers a dedicated space for scholarly inquiry into the
intersections of language, pedagogy, and identity in the field of English language education. The journal dedicates itself to offering a forum that
welcomes diverse viewpoints and inventive approaches, particularly those originating from the Global South.
Through its careful review process and welcoming editorial practices, Languaging aims to question
mainstream ideas in language education and promote research that is thoughtful and relevant to different contexts. It invites original contributions
that explore topics such as English language teaching, applied linguistics, bilingual education, and critical language studies. In doing so, the journal
fosters dialogue that not only enhances academic understanding but also informs practical improvements in educational settings worldwide.
Rooted in the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Languaging welcomes submissions from scholars,
educators, and practitioners who bring varied epistemologies and lived experiences to the discourse. By promoting research that foregrounds
underrepresented voices and contextually grounded approaches, the journal aims to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing transformation of language education.
