An ELT practitioner for more than 20 years now. Areas of interest include Psychology of Language Acquisition and Language Learning, Second Language Acquisition, Theories of SLA, Grammar, Academic Reading and Writing. Besides teaching several courses both at the undergraduate and post graduate levels, taught on a number of proficiency courses, Short term special purpose courses, consultancy programmes and skill development programmes. Coordinated and taught on several International training programmes (ITP) at EFLU. As a faculty member in the school of Distance Education, have been actively involved in teacher training(PGCTE and PGDTE) and writing course material production since 2009. Have also supervised Ph,D students in the areas of reading and writing ,TBLT ,Reciprocal teaching, syllabus design and Evaluation.
