Hostel Accommodation (Amrita Pritam International Hostel for Women and Tagore International Hostel for Men)

For Women

Women participants are accommodated in Amrita Pritam International Hostel for women on campus. Each participant is given an individual room with an attached bathroom (with WC, geyser) and a small kitchen. All rooms are air-conditioned and have television, refrigerators and wardrobes. The hostel has a computer lab with internet/wi-fi facility. The hostel has washing machines in the basement for washing clothes. It is also equipped with iron boxes which you can use. The hostel staff will clean the rooms under your supervision every day. Bedsheets, bedcovers, towels will be provided. You can carry extra towels if you wish to. Please carry your toiletries and cosmetics.

For Men

Men are accommodated in Tagore International Hostel on campus. You will get an individual room in a suite. The bathroom (with WC, geyser) and a small kitchen will be shared in the suite. All rooms are air- conditioned and have television, refrigerators and wardrobes. The hostel has a computer lab with internet/wi-fi facility. The hostel staff will clean the rooms under your supervision every day. Bedsheets, bedcovers, towels will be provided. You can carry extra towels if you wish to.

Food

No food is provided by the university. You are expected to do self-catering. There is no mess facility in the international hostel. You can cook in the small kitchen attached to the room. The kitchen has basic cooking utensils. On arrival, a loaf of bread, butter, jam, milk powder packet, some tea bags, bananas and a bottle of water will be provided in the room. After that you can buy the essential food items from local supermarkets from the living allowance given to you.

Library

The Ramesh Mohan Library at the EFL University, Hyderabad campus, is a Resource Centre for academic and research activities in the areas of Language Teaching, Linguistics, and Literatures in English and Foreign languages. Three air-conditioned reading rooms are provided by the library to its user community. There is a nominal fee to become a member of the library.

Shops / Cafeteria

On the campus there is a stationery shop, a photocopying centre, a cafeteria and a small general store which sells items of daily use.

ATM

All international cards are accepted in Hyderabad and State Bank of India (SBI) ATM service is available on campus.

Health Centre

There is a 6-bed clinic with first aid and emergency care available 24/7. Two physicians, a gynecologist, and a homeopath visit the clinic on specific days. There is also a nurse on campus during office hours.

Recreation

There are facilities for indoor games and outdoor games such as cricket, badminton, football and volleyball. All rooms have television facility. There is a beautiful park in the university. There is a music club too.

Internet

The University has Internet connectivity in the International Hostels as well as in the Computer Labs.

Security

Round-the-clock security is provided in the International hostels and at the three gates of the university
