I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of French and Francophone Studies in The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad since November 2009. I completed my Ph.D. in French Literature in 2015 from EFL-U, Hyderabad. My research interests include Literature, feminist studies, and cinema studies. The topic of my research thesis was: “La femme: figure d’altérité dans les contes de Maupassant” (Woman: figure of alterity in the short stories of Maupassant). I completed my M.phil in French Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2010. The research topic for M.phil was “la folle dans les contes de Maupassant” (The Madwoman in the short stories of Maupassant).

I have completed my B.A (French) and M.A (French) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

My research interests include French and Francophone Literature, Feminist studies, Cinema Studies, Literary Translation and FLE (Teaching French as a Foreign Language).
